This essay and speech are excellent, Mr. Baba! Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is exactly the leader we need now. He was the leader we needed then, and he’s the leader we need now. I’m glad you encouraged to remember that Dr. King would encourage us not to give up. It’s such a mess right now. Ugh. But when we emulate Dr. King, we can make real change. We need to reshape the Democratic Party so it’s more progressive and way less status quo. We do not need more status quo. Legislate against Citizens United! Thank you, sir, for your beautiful essay.
Thank you Elizabeth! Totally agree. His style of leadership is missing today. There is no equivalent to him living in our time. I hope we can all learn from his example and bring some of his brilliance into play in our organizing
