Excellent as always, Ahmed. The lower courts seem to be trying to save democracy, but the Supremes are shadowy, eh?

Thanks Katharine! And yup. We’ll soon find out the extent to which the 6-3 majority is bought in on the partisan MAGA mission, or if there is a semblance of an effort for moderation on Chief Justice Roberts’ end

Some lower court Judges are voicing concerns about the Supreme Court. Very unusual for Judges to speak to the press. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/supreme-court-trump-cases-federal-judges-criticize-rcna221775

100%. Truly showcases how extreme the Roberts court has become if these lower court judges felt compelled to speak out. Even anonymously that’s a big deal

Thanks for this. Great review of recent, very important, rulings. It is truly perplexing to the person I used to be -- that person who believed that SCOTUS was devoted to the rule of law -- that it is ruling in favor of this president without hearings, legal arguments, and against the evidence that has been presented in court. What comes to make sense of these actions is when I think of the six justices as being not in favor of rule of law but white supremacists who are incapable of seeing racism for what it is, who have been placed in these seats in order to save oligarchical capital, and who want authoritarian rule. Then this makes sense. I truly hope I am absolutely incorrect about this. Please let me be wrong.
