Nothing about the debate changes the fact Trump is the most dishonest, extremist, authoritarian major party candidate in US history. Whatever form it takes, we need to beat Trump and Project 2025.
My neighbor asked me about the NY opinion that Biden should step aside - I told her absolutely not, he's been a great president, it's early days yet and we'll lose voters if someone else put forward. She thanked me and later told me she just ordered her Biden yard sign.

I think there are merits to both arguments, but typically from what I’ve always seen, the immediate aftermath of something like this is always the most reactionary and it’s best to give it time and make data driven decisions. I think we’ll see a lot of polling on this in the coming weeks. I think a lot of people feel the way you do tho

Yeah the debate format didn’t favor him. I actually think he would’ve fed off an audience. Also, I think his debate prep team had him focused too much on facts and figures and not enough on performance. If they just had him rested up and ready to bring fire, I think he would’ve done better than the rigorous debate prep they put him through
