"Project 2025 Is The Real GOP Platform": My MSNBC Appearance Debunking Trump's Lies

This week, I was invited back on MSNBC's The 11th Hour to debunk Trump's lies about his ties to Project 2025. The truth is, his people organized it and his agenda aligns with it. It's undeniable.

Donald Trump continues to lie about his ties to Project 2025.

Here’s the truth: Trump's Agenda 47 directly aligns with Project 2025, and dozens of former Trump officials are behind it — including Russell Vought, a Project 2025 architect who is now the RNC platform writing committee's policy director.

I wrote an in-depth article this week detailing just how deeply involved Trump’s current and former team is with Project 2025 and how closely aligned Project 2025’s agenda is with the official Trump agenda.

I was invited back on MSNBC’s The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle on Monday to discuss Trump’s ties to Project 2025. We debunked Donald Trump’s lies in a conversation that included Semafor’s Dave Weigel.

“Project 2025 is the real Republican platform, not this list of watered-down objectives that [the RNC] laid out this week,” I told Ruhle. I also responded to Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts’ disturbing comments about how he believes America is in the process of a bloodless Revolution “if the left allows it to be." I took it as a threat.

Side note: Ignore the choppy video quality. I’m currently on vacation in Italy with my fiancé and family, so the internet connection was a bit rocky. I know what you’re thinking… what a moment to be on vacation. I’ve still been working, as you can see, but trying my best to relax and be present. Just when you think you can escape US politics for a moment, Donald’s lies pull you back in.

It’s been a slow build over the past year, but it’s now mainstream, with Google search volume for Project 2025 surpassing searches for Taylor Swift and the NFL.

Major props to everyone who spread the word about Project 2025 when no one was talking about it and to those amplifying it now. Let’s keep at it.
