On CNN this weekend, I went toe-to-toe with Scott Jennings on Trump’s corrupt prosecution of James Comey, and I asked him a question he couldn’t answer.

On Saturday morning, I had the opportunity to appear on CNN’s Table for Five with Host Abby Phillip for the full hour. I was joined on the panel by Scott Jennings, Adam Mockler, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. It was great being paired up with Adam again - he’s an awesome commentator. You should check out his YouTube channel if you aren’t already a subscriber.

In the first block, we talked about President Trump’s corrupt prosecution of former FBI Director James Comey. I started by laying out the facts of the case. I detailed step-by-step how President Trump personally directed the prosecution of a political target, despite U.S. prosecutors repeatedly saying there wasn’t enough evidence to charge.

The panel then began discussing the prosecutions that occurred under President Biden, and I made sure to lay out how these circumstances are not comparable in the slightest.

I asked Scott Jennings a simple question: Show me one example of President Biden publicly or privately directing Attorney General Merrick Garland to prosecute his political opponents. Jennings was unable to. Because it never happened. Trump’s corruption is in a league of its own. There is no comparison.

That particular moment with my question to Jennings is going viral on Twitter.

The Trump Administration is demonstrating what real weaponization of the DOJ looks like.

We also discussed political violence, and I took a moment to debunk the Trump Administration’s lies that try to claim political violence mostly comes from the left.

Thanks to all of you who’ve subscribed and supported this work! We’re making waves, and I’m going to keep striving to push the truth out there.
