The “No Kings” protests weren’t just massive. They were disciplined, defiant, and devastating to Trump’s authoritarian image.
Official estimates from “No Kings” organizers found that nearly 7 million Americans participated in the nationwide pro-democracy demonstration on Saturday. Data Journalist
reported that the protests may have actually drawn between 5.5 and 8.7 million participants. This was the largest single-day political protest in U.S. history, and it was entirely peaceful.
This second “No Kings" protest proved to be a strategic, peaceful mass mobilization that directly contradicted the Trump Administration’s narrative of chaos and violence. Families, people of all ages, veterans, and community leaders across all 50 states marched to defend democracy, and their discipline completely disarmed Trump’s propaganda machine.
Trump’s movement wanted violence. They were banking on chaos to justify more crackdowns. Instead, they got joy, creativity, and mass civic unity. It was a direct rebuke to everything his authoritarian brand depends on. When police departments across red and blue states publicly thanked protesters for keeping it peaceful, Trump’s disinformation collapsed in real-time.
His reaction said it all. Instead of responding with strength, Trump and his allies panicked. Right-wing influencers mocked the protestors as old and white while Trump’s team resorted to posting bizarre AI-generated videos depicting him as a king literally defecating on America, perfectly validating the premise of the protest. Their unhinged reaction only underscored what the data already shows: Trump’s approval has cratered to 37 percent as cracks are deepening across his support.
One thing is clear: Trump has tried to provoke the worst of America. Instead, he’s provoked the best of America.
This video is part of my broader video content expansion and a new video series I’m going to pursue, highlighting the ways Trump is weakening. It’s not just about cable news hits. We need to reach people where they are. If you haven’t already, follow me on TikTok.
